Talking to God

Have a private conversation with some incarnation of the One and Only Being. Or, just come hang out with the angels.

At the Burning Man festival almost every year for the last two decades there has been a symbol, a waypoint, an opportunity; to speak with God. There have been laughs, tears, concern and a most unique human interaction…..in a phone booth.

That’s Right!

It may not be safe to meet on the Playa so we are taking this event online!

Our team is working on a variety of services to make this time just as memorable as any other.

When the event starts and is running the “I want to talk to God” button will take you into the event.

Calling all People in need of a conversation with your God/Goddess.

We live in extraordinary times, and even without the present challenges of the year we all have a need to talk, to communicate, to be with others of like mind and soul. The phone booth has been a symbol of the conversation for so long and we hope to make it so this year as well. So come with us on this journey and speak with God.

Beyond Belief was the theme of the burn that year. Members of the Ojai Bureau of Pleasure (OBOP), from Ojai, California, came up with an idea. The idea was simple; would you like to talk to God? We built it, we staffed it, we answered the call. What came of the idea is one of the longest running art installations existing on the Playa. No one will know how many calls were answered but many remember the experience from either side of the line.
